Bohol is a little island paradise in the southern Philippines. Bohol is an island province of thePhilippines located in the Central Visayasregion, consisting of Bohol Island and 75 minor surrounding islands. Its capital is Tagbilaran City. Bohol is the tenth largest island of the Philippines. To the west of Bohol is Cebu, to the northeast is the island of Leyte and to the south, across the Bohol Sea is Mindanao.

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP) is one of the most important biodiversity conservation areas of the Philippines. This underground river is one of the world's longest underground river and the previous record holder of the longest underground river in the whole world. The Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to diverse species of plants and animals.
